How to Enter and/or Vote

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

This promotion will follow and adhere to all rules and/or regulations as provided on all pages available on this contest website. This includes all content as provided in our:

• Name the Cow Promotion Rules
• Privacy Policy
• Terms of Use Policy

Should you experience any issues with this website, we ask that you first try using a different mobile or desktop computing device to attempt to resolve your issues. Desktop Computers give the best overall performance and view, however some mobile devices render the site better than others.

If that does not seem to be helping, please ask someone else for help, such as a family member or friend, perhaps your favorite web guru or technician.

There is no initial or ongoing support to be provided, other then to try and resolve any issues with a non functional website. Due to any issues beyond or outside of our control, the entry period and/or voting period may be terminated early, and any/all entries submitted as of that time will be used to determine the winner.

We apologize in advance should anything go wrong, however this is a simple promotion to Name our Cow, with one Winning Entry to receive a $50.00 Gift Card valid at all Participating Vendors at the PA Dutch Farmers Market of Wyomissing.

Entries will be accepted beginning August 23, 2018 and continue through September 8, 2018.

PLEASE NOTE: All submissions must be approved before they will be public on our promotional website, and all submitted materials will be subject to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, and Promotion Rules. You will see that your user account will show how many pending photos have been submitted for approval.

You MAY use the same name for the Cow as someone else. All submissions with the same Cow Name will then be judged based on best photo for the same Cow Names submitted, so be creative when taking your photos!

How To Enter:

1. Visit www.namethecow.com, but since you are already here, this step is simply a formality.

2. Look for the UPLOAD COW PHOTOS section and click/tap on the Upload your photos button/link.

3. Click/tap on Register and complete the process, unless you are simply returning at which point simply enter your information and login.

4. From the menu, or the top of the page, look for the cloud icon with an arrow pointing up and then click/tap this icon.

5. Click/tap Upload Photos, then fill in the form including a simple title, only one name for the cow, choose Name The Cow Promotion Category, and accept/select Copyright notice. Next click/tap on the Browse image button, then follow directions on your device to take photo, pick from photo library, or browse your device. Once a photo is obtained, click/tap on the Upload Photo button.

6. Registered users can enter once per day, as long as your Cow name, and photo is not a duplicate of a previous entry. All entries from a single user account must be unique.

7. Have fun, enjoy uploading Cow Names and Photos, and please feel free to share on your favorite Social Media sites.

8. All uploaded photos will be approved/disapproved prior to the voting period beginning.

9. Contest/Site Rules and Policies should be viewed to familiarize yourself with how the promotion functions.

10. While you are on the site, you may feel free to browse and like other Cow Names/Photos prior to the Voting period, however in fairness to all users, you should come back at least once during the Voting period and like any other Cow Names/Photos. Remember this is a Name the Cow Promotion, the Cow Names will be Voted on first, and then if duplicate names have been submitted, the photos will then be used for final judging purposes. See Promotion Rules for more details. When Voting, pick your favorite Cow Name(s) FIRST, then if you find duplicate names, use photos as your secondary criteria to pick your favorite based on best photo for the name(s) you like that had more than one submission.

 Voting will begin September 10, 2018 and continue through September 22, 2018. No entries will be approved after September 8, 2018.

How To Vote:

1. Visit www.namethecow.com, but since you are already here, this step is simply a formality.

2. All Voters must do the quick and simple registration so no one can vote more than once for any Cow Name. Your information will remain private and we will not use it for any other purposes other than for fulfilling the promotion requirements.

3. Click/tap on Register and complete the process, unless you are simply returning at which point simply enter your information and login.

4. From the menu, or the top of the page, look for the Explore option and click/tap the Cow Names link.

5. Browse the list of Cow Names, and feel free to write down your favorites.  You can vote for as many Cow Names/Photos as the software will allow.

6. Select a Cow Name from the list and click/tap on it. All of the submissions for this name will appear. If there are several/many submissions using the same Cow Name, use the photos as your secondary criteria to pick your favorite(s) based on best photo for the name(s) you like that had more than one submission.

7. Have fun, enjoy Voting on Cow Names/Photos, and please feel free to share them on your favorite Social Media sites.

Judging will be held on October 5, 2018 by the Market Vendors.

The winner will be chosen as follows: We will pick the top ten entries based on the most likes (thumbs up) for any Cow name(s) submitted. All 10 entries will be printed out for the Market Vendors to judge. The sole winning Cow Name will be chosen by popular vote (the most votes) when being judged by the Market Vendors. Since there is a high likelihood that duplicate Cow Names will be submitted, your uploaded photos will serve as the tie breaking secondary judging tool. Out of the winning Cow Name(s) that have identical entries and the most likes, the most popular photo from that group will determine the final winner.

All decisions are final, and at the discretion of the Market Vendors.
