Name the Cow Promotion Rules
How the Promotion Works
Our Name the Cow Promotion will be used to name our Cow that is located out in front of our building. Promotion is open to anyone over 18 years of age.
The Promotion will be judged based first on the names of the Cow submitted. Because there is a high likelihood that there will be many submissions with the same name, the uploaded most popular photos will be used as a secondary guideline for judging purposes.
To make it simple, users/members will do a quick registration which is used to contact the winner, so be sure to use a correct email address. You will then take a photo alongside, or with our Cow showing either our building or our sign in the background when/if possible. Once you have taken a photo, you will upload it onto our website, and also submit your choice for the name of our Cow.
Once registered, anyone can also vote for the name of the Cow they like the best. If there are several choices with the same name, then pick your favorite photo as a secondary guideline.
The top ten cow names with the most likes (thumbs up) as selected by our users/members will then be printed out at the end of the entry period, and submitted for judging by the Market Vendors of PA Dutch Farmers Market of Wyomissing.
The winner of the Promotion will receive a $50.00 Gift Card valid at all participating vendors at the PA Dutch Farmers Market of Wyomissing.
Winner will be notified via the email used when registering for the promotion. Please check your email carefully when registering. If we cannot reach you due to an invalid email address in your user account, or undeliverable mail for any reason, the next runner up will be chosen as the winner. There will be ten final submissions used for judging, so this fallback procedure for contacting the winner will keep going backwards one at a time until a single user can be reached to receive the $50.00 Gift Card valid only at PA Dutch Farmers Market of Wyomissing. All physical submissions (as per rule #13 below) will also require accurate contact information, else the previous chain of fallback procedure will occur.

There is no initial or ongoing support to be provided, other then to try and resolve any issues with a non functional website. Due to any issues beyond or outside of our control, the entry period and/or voting period may be terminated early, and any/all entries submitted as of that time will be used to determine the winner.
General Rules and Guidelines
1. All names submitted must be suitable for our Cow, and the Farmers Market environment we will use it in. (Our decision whether or not name is acceptable will be final)
2. The name you submit for our Cow must be female, since our Cow is after all a mother.
3. You will need to Register to enter the Contest, and/or to Vote. This is a quick, simple process and we will NOT use your name or email address for any other purpose other than to notify you in the event you are a winner.
4. If entering the Promotion, you will be required to take, and upload a photo to be used as a secondary means of judging.
5. To be able to control and/or avoid duplicate voting for any particular Cow name, all users whether entering the contest or just voting will be required to Register to login to our Name the Cow Promotion website.
6. Registered users may submit one entry per day, as long as your Cow name, and photo is not a duplicate of a previous entry. All entries from a single user account must be unique.
7. Entries will be accepted beginning August 23, 2018 and continue through September 8, 2018.
8. Voting will begin September 10, 2018 and continue through September 22, 2018. No entries will be approved after September 8, 2018.
9. Judging will be held on October 5, 2018 by the Market Vendors.
10. To prevent any damage to the Cow, we ask that you do not tape, mount, attach, or use any other permanent/semi permanent way of displaying any accessories used in producing your photo for the contest.
11. The winner will be chosen as follows: We will pick the top ten entries based on the most likes (thumbs up) for any Cow name submitted. All 10 entries will be printed out for the Market Vendors to judge. The winning name will be chosen by popular vote (the most votes) when being judged by the Market Vendors. Since there is a high likelihood that duplicate names will be submitted, your submitted photos will be the tie breaking secondary judging tool. Out of the winning name that has identical entries, the most popular photo from that group will determine the final winner. All decisions are final, and at the discretion of the Market Vendors.
12. Please be kind, courteous, and considerate as a participant or voter in our Name the Cow Promotion. It is meant to be simple, fun to participate and vote in, and is not an endorsement of any kind for the winning entry. Have fun sharing your entries on Social Media. Invite other to join in on the Promotion.
13. Although this is mainly an online promotion, anyone who wishes to enter and has no online access may still participate. You must choose and legibly write down a name for the Cow, take a physical printed photo showing the Market building or our Sign in the background, and send both of these along with your name, email address or method of contact, and a self addressed stamped envelope for return of your photo if desired to:

All physical entries must be received by September 8, 2018 to qualify for entry into the Name the Cow Promotion. - No exceptions due to voting beginning on September 10, 2018.
14. All employees and immediate family members of PA Dutch Farmers Market of Wyomissing and/or Noble Group USA may not enter the Name The Cow Promotion for means of winning the $50.00 Gift Card. Voting is allowed by anyone who Registers on the site.
